CHOIR DIRECTOR OPENING
St. Francis Xavier is a vibrant Catholic parish with 1850 households. The choir director works with the adult choir of our parish, with 25 current members. The director selects music for the choir, rehearses with them bi-weekly and directs the choir every other Sunday from September through Pentecost. *Advent, Christmas, Lent and Triduum seasons will require extra liturgies. This person should have a solid musical background and familiarity with Roman Catholic liturgies, especially the Eucharist. Several years of experience with a minimum of a BA degree in music preferred. Position open until filled. FULL-TIME CUSTODIAL/MAINTENANCE

St. Francis Xavier Parish and School is accepting applicants for a full-time custodial/maintenance person. Responsibilities include general cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds for St. Francis Xavier Parish. In addition to custodial work, other tasks include set-up and take down of tables and chairs for special events, snow clearing as needed, and completion of other tasks to ensure a safe, clean, comfortable and healthy environment. Qualifications include necessary janitorial skills and knowledge, familiarity with cleaning/janitorial equipment and supplies and their safe use/storage. Basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills are beneficial to help maintain the general operation of the facilities. Candidates should be a high school graduate with three years of relevant work experience and have good communication skills. A favorable background check is a condition of employment.
